Through a competitive selection process, academic scholarships are awarded annually at the Texas FFA Convention to deserving members. Thanks to the generosity of numerous scholarship donors, the Texas FFA will award more than 140 scholarships to outstanding graduating seniors. These scholarships are awarded based on academic and FFA achievements as well as the member's performance in an interview process. 

The Texas FFA Foundation has an scholarship endowment to ensure students can receive these scholarships in perpetuity. We are proud to provide deserving members with approximately $2.4 million a year in academic and award scholarships. 

2024 Texas FFA Scholarship Information      

Scholarship applications open on January 1, 2024, and close depending on your area's submission date. 
Applications are available via the student's Texas FFA roster account.

2024 Area Scholarship Submission Deadlines:
Area 1: April 4, 24 at 11:59 pm	Area 7: April 10, 24 at 11:59 pm
Area 2: April 1, 24 at 5:00 pm	Area 8: April 17, 24 at 11:59 pm
Area 3: April 2, 24 at 11:59 pm	Area 9: April 21, 24 at 12:00 pm
Area 4: April 1, 24 at 11:59 pm	Area 10: April 15, 24 at 11:59 pm
Area 5: April 3, 24 at 5:00 pm	Area 11: April 17, 24 at 11:59 pm
Area 6: April17, 24 at 3:00 pm	Area 12: April 14, 24 at 11:59 pm

*State Interviews will be held on June 3, 2024 in Stephenville at Tarleton State University.

Please Note:

The SAT/ACT requirement remains in place.  Students must take and score a minimum of 1000 on the SAT or 19 on the ACT to be eligible to apply.

PH 22.4 (a) (10) Candidates who receive a Terry Foundation Scholarship are NOT eligible to receive a Texas FFA Academic Scholarship.
