Rodeo Austin awards scholarships to deserving students each year through partnering educational institutions. Scholarship Recipients are selected based on financial need, academic achievement and community involvement. Rodeo Austin establishes the selection criteria, then the partnering educational institutions make the specific student selections each year. To be considered for a Rodeo Austin Scholarship, you must be attending one of the partnering colleges or universities or have participated in 4-H or FFA programs.
Below are general instructions for how to apply for Rodeo Austin Scholarships at each institution. Please contact each institution’s financial aid department for specific questions on the application process. Austin Community College 
How to Apply
Students apply using the general scholarship application at www.austincc.edu/scholarships. Deadline is May 1. Open to incoming freshman who are pursuing a degree in any college/major. The application can be completed on the 4-H website at https://texas4hfoundation.org/types-of-scholarships/. Applications will be submitted at the county level, and then will be transferred to the state level for consideration for Rodeo Austin Scholarships. Applicants from this pool who meet initial eligibility are identified and invited to apply to the Rodeo Austin Scholarship by completing a supplemental leadership question. Deadline is December 15.
